Is your life turning out the way you expected? If not it is time to take control. Learn how to take responsibility. You are the author for your future. Take the pen and start to write the next chapter. Midlife Crisis Symptom # 1: Relationships Many times there are things from the past that people carry on into their present and future. Holding onto experiences, events, and failures sometimes manifest themselves later in life. This can affect the way we are being towards people or marriages. If our way of being is not good we affect those around us. They may or may not always be around you. If you want to be joyful and truly happy with others you must deal with yourself first and take responsibility for your past and learn how to let things go so your future can be what you want. We are all human. The "Being" Part is what makes us special.Midlife Crisis Symptom # 2: Emotional Issues ![]() Holding on to the past can lead to emotional issues later in life. Dealing with the reality of the past is essential to emotional well being. Those that don't can struggle with depression, alcoholism, and loneliness, and despair. Midlife Crisis Symptom # 3: Health Concerns Of course all of this can contribute to health issues. When you're thoughts and emotions are not good ones it also affects your health. It is said that disease is expressed through your thoughts and how you feel about yourself. Good thoughts good health. Not to say one can't get sick otherwise, but midlife is also the time when your body starts to breakdown unless your are actively involved in making good choices about your health. Most take better care of the car than they do their bodies. As you get older it requires more and more maintenance.Midlife Crisis Symptom # 4: Money Worries ![]() The value of the dollar was designed to go down. What a dollar gets you today is not the same that it did in the past, and it is only going to get worse. This places added stress and pressure and the "Baby Boomer" generation to work harder or smarter if they want to compete and survive. Unless your are financially literate you will be overcome by this BIG HUGE issue. Money does not make you happy, but the lack of it contributes to adding more stress in your life, as well as one more hurdle to overcome. Midlife Crisis Symptom # 5: Time Management ![]() Because we are working so hard to survive and the economic times we are facing many are dealing with less time. For many, this means less time for yourself, your loves ones, and the things you enjoy doing which further contribute to feelings of hopelessness and despair, and no time for a walk or a stroll. |
